Blackberry Mint Julep Protein Smoothie

Are you dragging before a workout and flagging midway through? Then our Blackberry Mint Julep Protein Smoothie is just the smoothie for you! Featuring Amino Co.’s Perform, a precise ratio of essential amino acids focused on optimizing athletic performance and recovery, so you grow stronger and go longer each and every day.

We’re also bolstering your energy with superfoods like kale and blackberries that won’t spike your blood sugar or leave you crashing when the effect fads away. Mint leaves balance out the sweet with fresh, and offer up some iron and folate for good measure. And milk delivers 6 more grams of protein to help you build and maintain the muscle mass you’re working so hard for.

Refreshing. Sweet. Energy and power on the go. You’re welcome!

Keeping You Healthy With…

Kale: Whether you go with green or purple, smooth or curly, kale has you covered with copious amounts of vitamin K, vitamin A, and vitamin C, essential minerals like manganese, calcium, and copper, and disease-fighting antioxidants like lutein, zeaxanthin, quercetin, and kaempferol. With notable anti-cancer properties, along with eye and heart health benefits, it’s earned its reputation as one of the most nutritious foods on the planet.

Mint leaves: Refreshing flavor aside, mint arms you with iron, manganese, vitamin A, folate, and even fiber. This means it’s your ally in eye health and digestive health. And we all know what that freshy mint aroma can do for our breath and our concentration. But did you know it’s boosting the immune system while it’s at it?

Blackberries: Rich in vitamins A, K, and C and high in fiber and manganese, this little super fruit doesn’t disappoint. It’s got the sweet taste you crave but carries a low glycemic load, scoring a 25 on the Glycemic Index (GI). A score lower than 55 has less of an impact on blood sugar levels. Blackberries also do wonders for your brain and your oral health.

Milk: With a complete amino acid profile and nearly 6 grams of protein in 3/4 of a cup, milk gets a thumbs up from our amino experts. Milk also delivers vitamin D, vitamins B2 and B12, calcium (of course), with a healthful mix of other minerals like phosphorus, selenium, and potassium. If you have sensitivities to dairy or are vegetarian and vegan, then a milk substitute such as almond milk will do just as well in the Blackberry Mint Julep Smoothie!

Amino Co Perform: Blue Raspberry boosts the flavor of this minty fresh smoothie while the patented amino acid blend prepares your muscles and mind for a high-powered workout and helps you recover faster after. Start sipping this smoothie pre-workout, let it fuel you up mid-workout, and take your last gulp within the first hour after exercise.
